MIRAI Sweden-Japan Workshop in Tokyo-Tech: Applications due on 11 Jan, 2019

Hosted by Tokyo Tech, MIRAI Sustainability Workshop will take place in Tokyo on 28-29 March, 2019.

The MIRAI project (2016-2019) aims to contribute to long-term collaborations and research excellence between Sweden and Japan through activities in research, education and innovation within Ageing, Materials Science and Sustainability. Kyushu University is one of MIRAI member universities.

Travel grant opportunities are available!
Two successful candidates will be selected and they will represent Kyudai.

MIRAI Sustainability Workshop
Main theme: Pathways to Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Sub-topics:
1.) Solutions for energy issues
2.) Solutions for water resources
3.) Solutions for other Sustainability related issues

Date: 28-29 March, 2019
Venue: Tokyo Tech Ookayama Campus
Participants: Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Post-Doc researcher, and PhD student

Travel grant: A round trip air fare (Fukuoka-Haneda Tokyo), 2 night accommodation, and daily allowance to be paid according to Kyushu University Travel Expense Regulations. Kyushu University’s International Office will book air tickets.

Please submit your application documents (in either Japanese or English) by Friday, 11th, January, 2019, to Kyushu University’s International Office by email (intlsts@jimu.kyushu-u.ac.jp)

-Applicants must be enthusiastic about collaborative and interdisciplinary work.
-As the program will be conducted in English, applicants must be able to communicate in English.

The successful applicants will be notified from International Office by the 4th week of January. After the notification, the successful applicants are asked to make an online registration.
