Immersed into a real life in Japan

The JTW program offers a unique opportunity to immerse into real life in Japan. With my tutor and conversation partner, I found good friends who helped me a lot in getting used to Japan and in improving my Japanese language skills. With my host family and the study trips, I could discover many facets of Japan’s daily life and culture. Furthermore, the Independent Study Project, which was excellently supervised, allowed me to conduct research related to my actual studies. In my case, it was about Smart Grids in Kyushu.

I have joined the 25th Class of the JTW program, and I hope it will continue its tradition of providing vast knowledge to international students as ‘tradition is not to preserve the ashes but to pass on the flame’ as an old quote says.
