International Exchange Event with Takeo Seiryo Junior High School in Ito campus / 武雄青陵中学校との国際交流イベント

International Exchange Event with Japanese Junior High school students will be held at Ito campus. Your participation will be highly appreciated.
※Reward will be offered after the event. (750~1,000 JPY per hour)
1. Date: July 2nd (Mon) 10:30AM~3:00PM
2. Venue: Room No. 2407, Center Zone 2, Ito campus
3. Application※first-come first-served basis

①Objectives
 (1) To improve JHS students’ practical communication skills through an English exchange with international students in Japan.
 (2) To broaden JHS students’ minds by comparing foreign cultures with Japanese culture.

②Contents
 Junior high school students make a presentation introducing the culture of their hometown to you. After, please evaluate their presentations. Next, please introduce your country’s culture to them in small groups. You can use your computers or cellphones.
 If you finish, please move on to a different group. They are looking forward to communicating and learning with you!!
 The things we would like you to do:
 (1) make a PowerPoint slide, with some materials prepared before the program.
 (2) communicate and interact with our JHS students.

 10:40 Assembly
 10:50~11:10 Opening Ceremony (Introduction of Kyusyu University)
 11:20~12:10 Presentation by Takeo Junior High School students
 12:15~13:05 Lunch Time
 13:10~14:15 Communication and Interaction Time with exchange students
 14:20~15:00 Question Time and Closing Ceremony (time of taking pictures)

④Reward, honorarium
 We will pay you for your corporation at the end of this program. (about 750~1,000 yen per hour) The payment amount depends on the number of international students participating in this program.
