2014 Summer Intensive QREC Lecture

Global Seminar (English)

This is a special lecture by an educator in Entrepreneurship Field. QREC will invite an excellent educator from overseas universities every year. Students can learn directly from him/her in English. But, speaking English is second thing. You can discuss with excellent educator about the latest hot issue in the field. QREC plans the themes of the lecture, for example, Social Entrepreneurship, Idea Generation, Design Thinking, Technology-based Innovation so on. Please check details of the year on the QREC web site.

The lecture and workshop of 2014 will be held on September 6th and 7th at Silicon Valley room of EC Building, Hakozaki Campus. QREC will invite Dr. Peter Kelly*, Professor of Industrial Engineering and Management School of Aalto University, Finland. Aalto University is a top ranked university in Finland and famous for Innovation and Design.

The theme of the lecture and workshop 2014 is “Creativity inspired Innovation”. Professor Kelly will manage the discussion at workshop to let you understand the importance of creativity and entrepreneurship for innovation and how to facilitate your own creativity and entrepreneurship.

Professor Kelley is famous for his unique teaching methodology, such as “Kitchen Entrepreneurship” and his teaching style is very popular for students. He is often invited to Europe, US and Asia for lecture and workshop.
