On January 26th 2023, the SHARE-Q International Advisory Group (SIAG) held an FD in English (FDE), titled "Boosting your KAKENHI Success Rate – all about the grant system and Kyushu University’s Support Program."
This FD in English (FDE), coordinated by Vice President/Prof. Natalie KONOMI, Global Strategies Office and Assoc. Prof. Ellen VAN GOETHEM, Faculty of Humanities. Head Research Support office Harold Kusters, Research and Industrial Collaboration Promotion Department, Grant Support Office presented an overview of research funding prospects in Japan and at Kyushu University, keeping in mind the need to increase external funding as a research university.
