Kyushu University has been a member of RENKEI since its foundation.\r\n\r\n[RENKEI website]\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.britishcouncil.jp\/en\/programmes\/higher-education\/university-industry-partnership\/renkei\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/www.britishcouncil.jp\/en\/programmes\/higher-education\/university-industry-partnership\/renkei<\/a>\r\n\r\nThis researcher workshop is an onsite program which will be held between 1-3 December, at Keio University&#8217;s Tsuruoka Town Campus (Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture). \r\nKyushu University aims to use this opportunity to develop early career researchers (ECRs) and strongly invites PhD students to participate in this program.\r\n\r\n<em class=\"txt_bold\">Eligibility at Kyushu University:<\/em>\r\nThose who fulfil all the followings 1) to 3).\r\n1\uff09Enrolled in a PhD course at Kyushu University during this workshop period, and as of April 1 2025.\r\n2\uff09The current research fields must be related to one of the priority themes in this workshop below.\r\n  I.Healthy diets: eating for longevity -Research on diet and life expectancy\r\n  II.Holistic wellbeing: mental health, exercise, behaviour and lifestyle -Research on behavioural patterns, habits, mental health, exercise and their relationship to health.\r\n  III.Breakthroughs in health technologies -Broadly examining research on new technologies and healthcare\r\n  IV.Community-based medical research -Research on community-based healthcare such as the Tsuruoka Mirai Health Survey (\u201cTsuruoka Metabolomics Cohort Study\u201d)\r\n3\uff09Good motivation to communicate with other participant, expand own network and contribute to further RENKEI activities. The workshop program will be provided in English.\r\n\r\n*The RENKEI\u2019s \u201cCall for Participating Researchers\u201d indicates that program is open to &#8220;ECRs, mid-career and senior&#8221;, but Kyushu University defines only PhD students as participants this time, due to its internal policy and budget regulations.\r\n\r\nNumber of Successful Applicants:\r\nAround 4 students.
