What does the program entail?<\/em><\/h4>\r\n\r\n
\r\nThe program comprises a range of economic support (including monthly stipends, travel expenses to Japan and housing), the special admission to our academic programs, and the special invitation to continue with your research on our campuses.\r\n<\/p><\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
What your status would be<\/em><\/h4>\r\n\r\n
If you are a student (we have primarily graduate students in mind)\uff1a<\/em><\/h5>\r\n
You would be accepted as a \u201cresearch student (non-degree student).\u201d <\/p><\/div>\r\n\r\n
If you are a researcher\uff1a<\/em><\/h5>\r\n
You would be accepted as a visiting researcher and other similar position (unpaid apart from the monthly stipend) in the research department of your choice.<\/p><\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Duration of the relief program<\/em><\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\nIt is due to continue, at least, until March 31, 2023<\/em>.

\r\nN.B. The extension of the program will be discussed by taking into consideration how the things develop. \r\n<\/p><\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Assistance for coming to Japan: Visa application, travel expenses, etc.<\/li>\r\n
Free accommodation: Campus housing etc., will be provided free of charge.<\/li>\r\n
Monthly stipend: 80,000 yen per month<\/li>\r\n
Fee waivers: Tuition fees and other related fees (e.g., entrance fee, examination fee) will be waived.<\/li>\r\n
Others: Japanese language classes are available upon request.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n
