\u7559\u5b66\u3092\u8003\u3048\u3066\u3044\u308b\u5b66\u751f\u306b\u5bc4\u308a\u6dfb\u3063\u305f\u6d3b\u52d5\u3092\u884c\u3063\u3066\u3044\u304d\u307e\u3059\u3002\r\n\r\nThe International Student Exchange Division of Kyushu University held a study abroad promotion event \u201cKyushu University Students\u00d7International Students Study Abroad Networking Event!!!\u201d on the first floor of the Center 6 on December 2, 2024. The purpose of this event was to let prospective study abroad students learn more about the countries and universities where they will be studying abroad by interacting with international students.\r\n\u3000First, an international student gave a presentation about her study abroad experience, followed by a meetup between international students and Japanese students. The students were divided into three tables, one for Europe, one for Asia\/Oceania, and one for Americas.\r\n\u3000There were no specific restrictions on the topics to be discussed at the meetup, and the participating students engaged in free and lively conversation. At each table, students who were interested in studying abroad actively asked international students questions about the characteristics of the region or university, food culture, and things to keep in mind. The international students responded enthusiastically to the questions from the Kyushu University students, and the event proceeded in a congenial atmosphere. In addition, by allowing time to move from one table to another during the meetup, the event provided an opportunity to communicate with international students from various regions and broaden their perspectives to regions in which they had previously shown little interest.\r\n\u3000As a result of achieving the event’s objectives, in a post-event questionnaire, participating Kyushu University students responded that they \u201cfelt less anxious about studying abroad,\u201d \u201cstarted to feel more realistic about studying abroad,\u201d and \u201cobtained a lot of useful information\u201d. Furthermore, since most of the conversations were conducted in English throughout the event, several respondents said, \u201cIt was a good opportunity for me to speak English\u201d.
