Dear presidents of our valued partners,

It is my great honor to inform you that I have been appointed the new president of Kyushu University. I am humbled and excited to have a chance to lead Kyushu University amid the significant social upheaval caused by Covid-19.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for all the support that you have given Kyushu University.
I aspire to promote Kyushu University as a world-class research university acting as a hub to provide knowledge, solutions, technologies, and innovations for both the local and global community towards achieving a sustainable society.

I aim to increase exchange opportunities with our partners to nurture global citizenship who play a leading role in the world. I promise to enhance support for developing and delivering sustainable partnerships towards solving global issues together.
