Menu Submissions Open! -2025 Fall World Cuisine
Dear International and Japanese Students at Kyushu University,
We've got news to share from SCIKyu.
At Big Orange Restaurant, Coop & SCIKyu will be hosting "World Cuisine” in Fall 2025!
They invite int’l students to propose dishes from their home countries, and Japanese students to propose local dishes from their study abroad destinations, which we plan to offer in our menu on a weekly rotation.
Please introduce us to your favorite dish through the form provided below.
Application Period: May 15, 2025 - May 30, 2025
Eligibility: Int'l Students & Japanese Students with Study Abroad Experience, etc.
*Based on the applications received, we will make a selection of which menu items will be surved.
★What is SCIKyu?
Kyushu University has established the "Student Committee for the Internationalization of Kyushu University (SCIKyu)" with the aim of incorporating the perspectives of students in promoting campus internationalization. This event originated from an idea pitched by the international student members of the committee who expressed a desire to have familiar dishes from their home countries served on campus. With the full cooperation of the Kyushu University Co-op, The idea was executed 2 years ago. Let's experience the food culture of each country and connect with the world through food!
