Here It Comes Again! Fall 2025 “World Cuisine” @ Big Orange Restaurant

We’re pleased to announce that “World Cuisine” will be returning to Big Orange Restaurant at Kyushu University’s Ito Campus this year, following the warm support and great response it received last year.
At World Cuisine, international students at Kyushu University introduce beloved dishes from their home countries, while Japanese students share unforgettable meals inspired by their experiences abroad. These dishes will be featured as part of the restaurant’s weekly rotating menu.
Now in its third year, the event will showcase five selected dishes from approximately 40 submissions. In addition, two popular dishes from past events will make a special comeback!
The Big Orange Restaurant is open to everyone, not just Kyushu University students and staff.
Come and connect with the world through food!

★What is SCIKyu?
Kyushu University has established the "Student Committee for the Internationalization of Kyushu University (SCIKyu)" with the aim of incorporating the perspectives of students in promoting campus internationalization. This event originated from an idea pitched by the international student members of the committee who expressed a desire to have familiar dishes from their home countries served on campus. With the full cooperation of the Kyushu University Co-op, The idea was executed 2 years ago.
