【Call for participation】RENKEI seminar: ISPF – accelerating Japan-UK scientific collaboration

RENKEI (Japan-UK Research and Education Network for Knowledge Economy Initiatives) is a partnership between 12 universities in Japan and the UK, aiming to further knowledge exchange and research collaboration between institutions and individuals.

About the International Science Partnerships Fund (ISPF)
The ISPF, managed by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology, is part of the UK government’s commitments to prioritise strategic international science partnerships. In March 2023, the UK government announced a £119 million package for phase one of ISPF, which will allow UK scientists and innovators to collaborate with international partners on multidisciplinary projects regarding some of the most pressing themes of our time.

About this seminar
The RENKEI consortium’s rich experience in bringing key players together and initiating research collaborations puts it in a unique position to discuss and propose the possibilities of the newly launched ISPF. In this seminar, speakers from the RENKEI network will share insights into the opportunities this new programme brings.
