[Deadline extended! (3/3, 2/28)] Syllabus for College of Asia Pacific (CAP) Courses

The syllabi for the two programs to be offered at College of Asia Pacific (CAP) are now available.

(1) CAP COIL Program with the University of Hebrew Jerusalem -Cultural Difference and Social Change in Japan and Israel

This is the first "COIL Program" at Kyushu University.★☆
Start date: March 7
Application deadline: March 3 *We have extended the deadline.
(This course is offered as part of the Kikan Education Program: [College of Asia Pacific] Cultural Difference and Social Change in Japan and Israel. We will provide the course in accordance with the academic calendar of Hebrew University, so lectures will start in March.)
Orientation will be held prior to the start of the lecture (participation required on February 28).

Together with students from the Department of Japanese Language and Literature at Hebrew University, we will focus on Japanese and Israeli society.
We will focus on work-life balance, family and home life, and urban and rural life, using examples from Japan and Israel.
The lecture will be held in English.

(2) CAP Online x APRU (Association of Pacific Rim Universities) - Japanese Society in the Age of Globalization

This is the first Program of Kyushu University to offer APRU.★☆
Start date: From April
Application deadline: February 28
(This course will be offered as part of the Kikan Education Program: [CAP & APRU] Japanese Society in the Era of Globalization.

Students will learn about Japanese society and culture as well as common issues in the Asia-Pacific region with international students majoring in the Japanese language at member universities of the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU), of which Kyushu University is a member.
The lecture is given in English and Japanese.
