As part of the Kyushu University's 111th-anniversary event [VISION EXPO], a research pitch contest will be held for students and young researchers of the University.

Generally, a pitch contest is a short presentation of technological seeds or business ideas. However, this contest is not limited to business but aims at passionately communicating one's research ideas and prospects to society.

In addition, the top winners who make outstanding pitches in the main competition will receive cash prizes.

We look forward to seeing many of you at this event.

A）Doctoral Program^*1・Postdoctoral Fellow Program^*2 Division

• 1st place: 500,000 yen
• 2nd place: 300,000 yen
• 3rd place: 100,000 yen
(one winner each)
^*1 Including students who are enrolled in a three-year doctoral program and students who are enrolled in similar programs　
^*2 Within three years of acquiring Ph.D.; however, this excludes faculty members



B）Undergraduate/Master's Program^*3 Division

• 1st place ：300,000 yen
• 2nd place：200,000 yen
• 3rd place：100,000 yen
(one winner each)
^*3 Including students who are enrolled in a two-year master’s program and students who are enrolled in similar programs
