Dear Kyushu University Students
The Student Committee for Internationalization of Kyushu University (SCIKyu) is now recruiting new members.
【What is SCIKyu?】
SCIKyu was initiated in 2011 to promote the internationalization of Kyushu University from the perspective of students.
SCIKyu consists of Japanese and international students working together under the supervision of professors and administrative staff.
As it is a special group delegated to consider and promote the internationalization of the university, it does not focus on organizing or conducting events like a club.
【Examples of Activities】
Survey and suggestions regarding the website of Kyushu University.
Created a club guidebook for international students.
Survey of Japanese students regarding study abroad.
【What you will do as a SCIKyu Member】
Learning about internationalization of education.
Teamwork when necessary.
Communication with related departments at Kyushu University.
Attending general-meetings (held quarterly) and student-meetings regularly.
*SCIKyu activities are carried out in English.
【Application Deadline】
March 6, 2023
【How to apply】
Please use the below application form:
Application Form
【Selection process】
1. By March 6: Deadline for the above application form is by March 6th.
2. Mid-March: All applicants will be notified of the results of the screening by e-mail by mid-March.
3. Mid-March: The second round of screening, the interview, will be held in mid-March.
4. Late March: You will be notified of the final selection results by email.
5. Early May (after holidays): 1st general meeting.
