Global Gateways[Canceled] Special Lecture by Mahathir bin Mohamad
Let’s think together about our future through talking the relationship between Japan and Malaysia! Kyushu University will award the Honorary Doctorate to Mr. Mahathir, who served as Prime Minister of Malaysia. In commemoration of this, Kyushu University will be inviting him for a special lecture at Ito Campus.
Kyushu University has a lot of connections with Malaysia. It is represented by the contributions to the establishment and operation of the Japanese style engineering higher education "Malaysia Japan International Institute of Technology (MJIIT)" located in Kuala Lumpur.
Mr. Mahathir will give us a talk, followed by interactive dialogue especially with young generation, through his diverse achievements including high economic growth in Malaysia!
