【Recording Available:Members Only】 Supporting International Students (FD): Early Intervention, Well-being, and Belonging – How faculty and staff can help create a supportive campus environment
On the July 7th 2026, The Strategic International Advisory Group (SIAG) held a Faculty Development (FD) session, titled “Supporting International Students: Early Intervention, Well-being, and Belonging—How Faculty and Staff Can Help Create a Supportive Campus Environment,” was featured a presentation by Associate Professor Huang Zhengguo (International Student Center, Center for Health Sciences and Counseling) and was focused on supporting international students.
This FD session was focused on Supporting International Students, and explored practical approaches to supporting international students through intercultural understanding, effective communication, and early intervention. Participants will gain insights into recognizing potential concerns, responding appropriately, and connecting students with available resources when needed, helping to foster a more inclusive and supportive campus community.
