<Call for Participants> Kyushu U 3MT (Three Minute Thesis) Competition 2026
Kyushu University will hold the 6th Kyushu U 3MT Competition. The 3MT Competition is an international competition in which participants give a three-minute presentation on their research in English, using only one slide. It started in 2008 at the University of Queensland (Australia), one of our partner universities, and has become a well-known and highly regarded competition with over 900 universities in 85 countries participating.

●Eligibility
Students enrolled in the doctoral program at Kyushu University
(3rd-5th year for Integrated Doctoral Course)
●Application deadline: Friday, June 5, 2026
●Prizes (Research grants and certificates are awarded)
*1st prize: 300,000 JPY, 2nd prize: 200,000 JPY, Public Vote: 100,000 JPY
●Briefing session: Tuesday, May 12, 2026, 12:10-13:00
