International Students brings Cherished Home-Cooked Delights to Kyushu University in “World Cuisine – A Taste of the World in 5 Weeks”

The Big Orange Restaurant on Ito Campus, Kyushu University will be hosting "World Cuisine – A Taste of the World in 5 weeks" where dishes from around the world, specially conceived by international students will be served on a weekly rotation.

Kyushu University has established the Student Committee for Internationalization of Kyushu University (SCIKyu) with the aim of incorporating student perspectives into the university’ internationalization efforts. This initiative, inspired by the committee's international student members who expressed a desire to savor the flavors of their home countries on campus, has come to fruition. International students have each contributed their home country's cuisine to the menu, with the full cooperation of Kyushu University CO-OP, making it possible.

This restaurant is not only open to university related people but also to the public. We invite everyone to come and experience the multicultural culinary delights of Kyushu University's international students, and let food be the bridge that connects us to the world.
