Global Gateways【Call for Participants】 Kyushu U 3MT (Three Minute Thesis) Competition 2025
Kyushu University will hold the 5th Kyushu U 3MT Competition on Monday, July 28. The 3MT Competition is an international competition in which participants give a three-minute presentation on their research in English, using only one slide. It started in 2008 at the University of Queensland (Australia), one of our partner universities, and has become a well-known and highly regarded competition with over 900 universities in 85 countries participating.
Date: Monday, July 28, 2:15pm - 4:00pm
Eligibility
Students enrolled in the doctoral course of Kyushu University (For integrated doctoral programs, grades 3-5)
Application deadline: Monday, June 16
Prizes (Research grants and certificates are awarded)
*1st prize: 300,000 JPY, 2nd prize: 200,000 JPY, Public Vote: 100,000 JPY
